We are looking for new members for staff of PHP-Fusion Codex. As I am all filled up with my new computer studies I have very limited time left over for PHP-Fusion, and what time I have I will use for development of the core.

You will be responsible for monitoring the site and continue the documentation of all the functions, fixing up those functions which are missing information or examples. It's a time consuming job documenting all the functions, but it's is doable with taking one function of the time. This site has turned out to be one of the most valuable PHP-Fusion resources and we need skilled people who can carry on with the task of documenting.

You will need to have good knowledge of PHP-Fusion and insight in the different functions which PHP-Fusion builds on - to be able to document them and write examples.

It has been a very busy time but we'll continue upgrading all the functions and writing more detailed information about them so you'll get the best experience possible. If you have any suggestions - please let us know!

Today we have introduced a new and enhanced referrer system for our Fusion Functions database. Until today we have displayed every incoming link to our functions without thinking that some URL's might be fake. We have learned the naked truth about "referrer spam" which is more and more used, at least on sites logging incoming referrers and maybe displaying them to the public.

Today we change all this because we have introduced a highly advanced system to mark domains good or bad before displaying the referring links. So from today the referring links you'll find in the functions should be without spam and be related to the content of the function.

Of course there might be some flaws with this type of control and we are looking into other possibilities to keep our site as clean as possible form spam. If you have any comments or suggestions please let us hear them so we can continue giving you the best service possible.

The advertisement system we had on the site was very ineffective and too confusion for our many daily users, so we have decided to remove them completely. We will be working on some other ways to bring income to the site as it costs some to have it up and running. The specific details will be figured out during the summer, we'll be sure to let you guys know if there becomes any other changes.


And by the way, the registration has been activated again, lets hope the boots stays out this time shall we!

Hi everyone. I just wanted to say a few words before I'm leaving. I'm going to central- and south america, not USA but the real america. Guatemala, Colombia, Costa Rica and Ecuador. I'll be away for three months before I'm back home, I'll have very limited internet access and the access I might have will be used to update friends and family back in Norway.

I just want to say that PHP-Fusion is my baby and my third great love, my first love is my girl friend, second is my family and friends and on a very strong third; PHP-Fusion. This site was purely created for the PHP-Fusion community and it's developers and users. I wanted to give something to the community which took me in when I knew nothing about coding at all.

Take care of my site while I'm away. PMM and Flyingduck will be in charge and will look over this site while I'm gone.

Ok, we have been hit rather moderate with spam boots the past couple of days. Luckily I have been around and able to keep the mess to a minimum but enough is enough. I have made the latest version of the PHPCaptcha, or securimage as most of you know it as, compatible with the latest version of PHP-Fusion too keep the spam out. The downside of this is that it might be a bit harder for you guys to register on this site, I apologize for that but it is the only way to keep the spam machines out. I hope you understand.

NOTE: The script has been sent to review at the Development Team and will be released / integrated to the official version of PHP-Fusion as soon as it is ready!

I was lucky, I found some unexpected time to finish some more features for the Fusion Functions Database. Basically the v2.2 is a service version to v.2.1 as it extends some of the features added in v2.1 but we are adding some new cool ones too which leaves it to 2.2. Because of the earlier rewrite of the core I was enable to develop the features I wanted very quickly without having to rewrite anything major this time. Most of the new functionality is in the core or the admin panel so you won't be seeing very much to them. Read more to find out of all the changes.

I am pleased to announce that the newest version of our Fusion Functions Database, 2.1, is now online and running smoothly! The new database is faster and has a much more stabile and well written core which allows us to make new updates faster, adding more features for you.

I was just informed by my host, One.com, that we might be experiencing some downtime related to thew servers and switches at the hosting facility had some major errors which might result in a major breakdown. I was informed this morning and One.com will be replacing all damaged parts of their system within this week.

From what I have found out this site is not hosted on one of the affected servers but as things are being replaced it can affect the uptime and speed of this site. I will do my best to keep you guys up to date and prepare for a backup site if that should be necessary if a longer downtime occurs.
